Our technical team receives great questions from our community and applies their experience to reply and respond to each of those questions. Our experience is formed by the types of questions we receive on a regular basis. The senior members of the technical team use some of the more frequently asked questions to train junior members of the team and to determine what issues require better understanding by our users.
Over the course of the years Sippy has established itself as a company that innovates. Cloud computing is not new technology and it is definitely not something that Sippy invented. When it comes to cloud computing however, we are experts. Our internal infrastructure runs on the cloud. We have tested and studied the AWS Cloud in relation to our softswitch’s performance quite thoroughly. With all the experience we have we are confident that we can deliver stable, robust and secure softswitch solutions on the cloud which is why we have chosen the AWS Cloud to be our next hosting platform.
Hello Everyone Apart from a cool new website, some of the changes we’ve made are sure to be very useful to you. We are working on further improvements to our interface and are also creating new hosting options. Going forward, there will be more options to host your softswitch inside our infrastructure which will be economical; these changes will apply to users who are not currently able to host on their own.
Hello Everyone We’ve been in business now for over 15 years and we have many users of our softswitch who have grown up with us. We continue to grow; our team is expanding through our adding of developer talent and more support team members. In late April, Sippy hired a new Front End developer to help us make changes to our interface. Some of the planned changes include improvements to monitoring graphs, and changes to login pages to help deliver simplicity of use with our new multi-factor authentication.

Hello Everyone! Many of you have been patiently awaiting our Sippy 5.3 Release. Unfortunately that release will never come out. Don’t panic, a new, improved version will be released but under a new name. We are renaming our upcoming version and going forward we will use a new naming format. Our new version will become known as “Sippy 2020”. In preparation for the release of Sippy 2020, we wanted to highlight just some of the upcoming changes we’ll have made available for our next release cycle.
Hello Everyone, Posted on November 15th, 2019 In September 2015 Sippy Software released v4.4 of our software. In the 4 years since, we have released 3 new versions on our 5.X platform. Over the 4 years, many of our customers have upgraded to the v5.2 version. Starting today our Sippy Softswitch version 4.4 will reach end of life. Moving forward, customers running v4.4 or v4.5 will no longer be eligible for free upgrades to any of the supported versions (v5.
Re: Hosted Service Migration to New Data Center Location To our Valued Customers We chose IBM to be our data center and hardware partner due to the exceptional service levels and highest quality datacenter properties. To continue to offer the exceptional level of service, IBM is deploying new data center locations that employ the latest security, redundancy, and backbone connectivity with multiple fiber interconnections. As a result some of our hosted customers will be migrated over to the new data center and deployed on newer and more powerful servers.

Our development team contributes to a number of key Open Source Projects in the telco space. Our product wouldn’t be what it is without community development into Open Source projects like nathelper, RTPProxy, SippyB2BUA, mod_python, RTP_Cluster, voiptests, Go B2BUA and Go RTP Cluster.
