Sippy Software maintains active support for 3 of the latest production versions of the software to cope with the limitations. Notable changes are: Introduction of “End of Life” (EOL) support status; Clarification of the services that the Sippy Support team will provide customers who run EOS or EOL versions of our software; Introduction of extra fees to be charged in order to recognize the substantially higher cost of supporting EOS or EOL software versions for those few customers who were unable or unwilling to upgrade to an actively supported version on time.

The release of Sippy 2020 means that at this time we will be moving Sippy Softswitch v5.0 to End of Support (EOS), and Sippy Softswitch v4.

On May 17th, 2016 Sippy Software released our the 4.5 version of our software. In those two years we have since released our 5.X platform. Since that time many of our customers have upgraded to our 5.0 version or to our latest published release 5.1. In the coming months we will no longer be offering active support or critical updates for our 4.5 versions of our software. End of support will come with the official release of our 5.

STH module is now fully deprecated with the 5.X Releases. The STH module is now fully deprecated in our 5.0 Releases and beyond. The STH module was initially developed to meet regulatory reporting requirements from the Turkish Government. The STH module was no longer being actively developed after our 4.3 release infavour of the TIB module. The new TIB module fully meets with current Turkish Regulatory requirements. Customers That require the TIB module will need to contact sales@sippysoft.

End Of Support - Sippy Softswitch 4.4 In September of 2015 Sippy Software released Sippy Softswitch version 4.4. Since then a number of our customers have already moved forward with either our 4.5 and 5.0 release versions. Starting February 1st, 2018 Sippy software will no longer be offering active support or critical updates for our 4.4 version of our software. It is very important that customers make arrangements to upgrade the version of their softswitch to an actively supported version.

In March of 2015 Sippy Software released Sippy Softswitch version 4.3. After 2.5 years of reliable service and subsequent releases we will no longer offer active support or security updates for the version 4.3 starting September 1st 2017. It is very important that customers make arrangements to upgrade the version of their softswitch to an actively supported version. Customers who move to version 4.5 or 5.0 will see a number of benefits ranging from improved security, processing efficiencies, reporting, and a number of other improvements made in the past 2.
